Terms and Conditions

  1. ‘Design Plus Digital’ is Erin Ritchens trading as Design Plus Digital.
  2. ‘The Client’ is the party making a booking for design related services from Design Plus Digital.
  3. ‘The Project’ is a term used to describe the service from Design Plus Digital.

The Terms and Conditions apply to all dealings between The Client and Design Plus Digital. By booking a Project with Design Plus Digital, you as a Client are forming a legally binding contract for services and you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.


Quotes are valid for 30 days and are listed in Australian Dollars.

Should the scope of work outlined in the quote change or increase, a rate of $100.00 per hour will be charged for additional work. This will be outlined by Design Plus Digital and agreed upon by the Client prior to additional work being undertaken.

2. Fees and Payment

All terms of payment are 7 days from the date stated on invoice and are to be made via bank transfer or PayPal. Please note that PayPal has a transaction fee.

Invoices that are not paid by the due date will incur a late administration fee of $50.00.

Invoices that are not paid within 7 days of the original due date will incur an additional 5% of the Project fee for each ongoing week that the amount remains outstanding.

For Projects of $500 or more, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required prior to commencement of work. The remaining 50% balance is required on Project completion before the Project is released.

A screenshot of the payment transaction should be emailed to Design Plus Digital to ensure Project commencement and completion can occur promptly.

If Design Plus Digital requires the hiring of debt collection services for unpaid invoices, the Client will be held responsible for any costs incurred.

3. Cancellation

The Client may cancel a Project for any reason by providing 7 days written notice via email to Design Plus Digital. Deposits paid prior to cancellation are non-refundable. Payment is required for Project work that has already been commenced by Design Plus Digital.

4. Communication

Design Plus Digital will endeavour to reply to all emails within 24 hours on business days.

Design Plus Digital is an online business who communicates primarily via email. This ensures that the Project process runs to schedule with optimal design time and that Client communication is recorded.

If the Client requires a phone call or Zoom online video call, this will need to be requested via email prior.

5. Turn-around Times

Design Plus Digital will endeavour to meet the deadline outlined in the Project quote. Design Plus Digital will not be held responsible or liable for any costs resulting from late Project artwork or printing delivery.

If Design Plus Digital does not receive Project content that is required from the Client as agreed in the Project timeline, then Design Plus Digital may not be able to meet the original agreed timeline milestones which could delay Project completion dates.

An additional fee of 5% of the total Project fee will be incurred for each week that Project content is outstanding from the Client.

6. Copyright and Intellectual Property

All artwork shared with the Client during the Project process remains the property of Design Plus Digital. Upon final payment and Project completion, the final supplied files/Project becomes property of the Client. Unused concepts (eg. logo designs) shared during the Project process remain property of Design Plus Digital and are not to be used by the Client.

Design Plus Digital may use Project artwork in the promotion and marketing of Design Plus Digital’s services across their website, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or other online profiles.

7. Confidentiality

All Project information provided by the Client to Design Plus Digital will remain confidential until the Project is approved and released.

During the Project process, the Client agrees not to share draft concepts (eg. logo designs) with third parties, including on social media and in Facebook groups.

8. Artwork

Native artwork files (.psd, .indd, and/or .ai) are not included in final artwork release and remain property of Design Plus Digital. Should native artwork files be required, these will incur a release fee calculated on the Project size.

On Project completion the Client is required to save their own copies of supplied artwork files. Any files that are requested after 30 days of Project completion will incur an artwork release fee of $50.

9. Approval

It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that all spelling, grammar, contact details, images and order specifications are correct prior to final approval and sign-off on all projects. Design Plus Digital does not take responsibility for errors made corresponding to approved artwork.

For digital Projects, colour and image quality may vary from screen to screen depending on the device.

For print Projects, colour and image quality may vary from screen to printed item. The Client may request a sample print prior to a final print run to ensure they approve of the quality. Please note that due to the printing process, printed colours may still vary each print run which is not in Design Plus Digital’s control.

Design Plus Digital acknowledges the traditional owners of the land that we create on, the Dhudhuroa people. We recognise their connection to land, water and culture in our community. We pay respect to elders past, present and emerging.
