Bardi and Jawi Gaarra Marine Park

The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions together with Parks and Wildlife Service engaged Design Plus Digital to create a logo for the Bardi and Jawi Gaarra Marine Park.

We were supplied with an original Aboriginal artwork to digitise and then use for the logo. The dugong, turtle and whirlpool were simplied while maintaining the original colours and patterns from the artwork. The words were placed around the icons so that the logo could work at a small size on ranger shirts and alongside the other joint management logos as pictured below.

We can’t wait to see this logo out on Country.
